Still At it!
So...many...pictures...to chose from. But here is what MUST be admitted is a classic.
Batman's "One Punch" of Guy Gardner back in the old JLI. The beginning of a running gag that is STILL going on. A truly cosmic bonk on the ol' noggin...giving an already brain-damaged Guy two black eyes, and probably a concussion, not to mention having lie on the floor unconcious and ignored by the his comrades for at least a day.
And causing a certain amount of angst in Guy, that lead to this...!
Yeah, Guy loses in the end, but he certainly made Hal work for it!

At least Hal admits what a tough opponent Guy is during that fight, even if he only admits it to himself. It sort of hurts to think how much heart and soul you have to put into fighting in order to end up so exhausted that only your anger can keep you standing. And to keep punching with a brutally smashed and certainly broken in a billion places hand, too!
I've managed to dig up some shots of John taking a beating, but I've no working scanner. Ah well.
I love that issue where Batman clocks Guy and Dinah is so distraught that she missed it.

Really, the others have received their fair share of bruises, but I think Hal has been beat up by other Lanterns more than any other Lantern.
I think that Hal does have a...grudging...respect for Guy, or at least what Guy is capable of doing, even if he won't really ever come right out and admit it.
Nice one, Saranga! Have you checked out Sea of Green's site? She has another one of Ollie smacking Hal around. Ollie REALLY lkes smacking Hal around.
There really just IS something about Hal that cries out for a blow to the head. Guy certainly manages to get pummelled, and Kyle was always getting tortured and his clothes torn off, and even John has taken his licks, but NOTHING like Hal.
Frankly, I think that Hal ENJOYS getting hit in some weird sort of way. That way he gets sympathy from the chicks.
