Middle Names
How many super heroes and heroines have middle names? Well, I'm sure that they HAVE them, but it isn't something that is brought up very often. I for example, know the middle name of Wimpy from the Popeye cartoons is Wellington. J. Wellington Wimpy. I feel SO superior in this knowledge.
What is Bruce Wayne's middle name? What is Hal's? What is Clark's or Lois's?

Guy, that's who. In fact, Guy may actually have TWO middle names, as his mother, written by Beau Smith in the Warrior book calls him Guy JOSEPH Gardner. My assumption, is that Guy's parents couldn't agree on a single middle name, and therefore, his actual name is Guy Darrin Joseph Gardner. God only knows what Mace's middle name is. Probably Aloysius or something.
Does anyone know of other characters with middle names?

Off the top of my head, Jen Walters' middle name is Sue. And I'm pretty sure that Johnny Storm's middle name is Spencer.
Oh! And don't forget that the Hulk is Robert Bruce Banner! (Sorry for the extra comment.)
Black Canary is Dinah Laurel Lance! I think that's all I got off the top of my head.

Hal's middle name is Lawrence; after all the giggling and eye-rolling about "Harold" in Secret Files & Origins I don't blame him for keeping quiet about it.

I KNEW you guys would come through! I should have remembered Bruce Banner I suppose, although that one is something of a retcon, when the people at Marvel were worried that Bruce was considered to be a "wimpy" name.

And Jimmy Olsen's full name is James Bartholomew Olsen.
Steve Trevor's middle name is Leonard. If I had to guess, I'm assuming Etta Candy's is "Lotta". I mean, her dad's name is Hard Candy, her mom is Sugar and her brother is Mint...
Also I remember an old Hembeck strip claiming Zatanna's middle name is Rosannadanna.

Oh...Wally! You must have really had miserable parents. Jonah Woodson Hex on the other hand sounds pretty darned cool.
Woodson was his father's name. It was also the middle name of Jonah's son Jason, and the first name of his grandson.

Actually it was a retcon because Stan Lee forgot and called him "Bob Banner" in a couple of early issues.

I always thought that, on Earth-Two, the W stood for West. Gordon's father named him after his former partner and best friend.
Oh, and Clint Barton (Hawkeye)'s middle name is Francis.

She eventually married Mike W. Barr and they had a lot of children whose hyphenated surname is "Candy-Barr".
I've heard Peter Parker called "Peter Q. Parker" before, but Google suggests that's just in the newspaper strips.

Phew! These are a lot of middle names I had no clue about.
Still, Guy Darrin Gardner is just the funniest. I immediately pictured him along with Samantha, lol.
G'nort Esplanade G'neesmacher.
G'nort has one of the most awesome names in comics, and I completely forgot about him.
As for Guy "Darrin" Gardner hanging out with Samantha, Blue Beetle makes that very same comment in the next panel of the original book. Needless to say, Guy is displeased.
