More Green Lantern Goodies
This is just because I can't help myself. I stole this off of Scans Daily, bless their hearts.
This is the scene in Green Lantern Corps where the boys show up in all of their multi-colored glory, ready to save the day, and Ganthet just loses his mind. Frankly, I find it hilarious.
The writers seem to be enjoying themselves a bit with this particular storyline, which I find to be a rather welcome change after all the sturm und drang of Blackest Night and such. We have Hal and Guy exchanging banter, Hal in a cockpit, which is always dangerous, and the Crayola Corps. Well...there is some heavy stuff going on. I'm sure that Ganthet isn't particularly amused at the moment, but gosh, Krona DOES seem to be enjoying himself thoroughly.
And so am I.

This was pretty much my reaction to the earth GLs getting new rings. Although now I have the vision of Guy in a crystal thong.
In the Green Lanterns, no matter which book, Guy always gets the best lines.
Yes. Yes he does. And quite frankly I'd kill to see anyone of them in a crystal thong.
Er...except Ganthet.
I think I agree with Ganthet ... Give Guy yellow, he knows how to use it. Give Hal the Blue, 'cause that's how Gathet wants it and he's oh-so wise. Give Kyle indigo 'cause he's a free thinkin' caring individual and give John the red 'cause he really, REALLY just needs to let it out.
They never seem to acknowledge the fact that Guy USED a Sinestro's own ring for quite some time...and used it darned effectively at that. Of course he was pretty bat-shit crazy at the time, which may have helped, but still!
Actually Kyle would work pretty well for Compassion. Or even Love I think.
But it IS fun to watch Ganthet go into a tizzy.

I just loved seeing how giddy Hal was when he got in that starship. The fastest one in the galaxy, of course. It's nice to see a reminder every now and then that Hal's a pilot.

Man, I need some Guardian figures, since they seem like the worst bosses ever. Next issue: Ganthet yells at the guys for 23 pages, for not filing Request for Ring Transfer document GLCX440071 in triplicate...
Normally, it would be Salaak doing that, but Ganthet obviously has to pick up the slack.
