The Good Old JSA

Unlike the Justice League, which has this habit of forming, reforming, disbanding and then reforming again, you can pretty much count upon the Justice Society to BE there for you. At least once they got past that whole fighting in Limbo thing.

But the JSA, unlike the JLA, are all just a bunch of pals. Here they are, all sitting around, and apparently telling ghost stories.

Personally, I think that Doctor Mid-Nite and Jay are a little TOO friendly here. but what the heck.

They are also incredibly civic minded. Here they all are apparently visiting a poor sick kid in the hospital.

You won't catch Batman doing stuff like that. He's more likely to give them heart attacks.

And sometimes...well, the JSA knows that sometimes doing nothing is perfectly fine.

So...so relaxing.

I'm not really sure I want to see the Justice Society's "private show" either.

Well, they DID seem awfully enthusiastic...except maybe for Wonder Woman, who looked a bit on the nervou side.

It really makes you wonder what they could possibly be doing.

Ahh, the JSA. I love them way better than the JLA for all the reasons mentioned right here. I'm a little leery of that "private show", too, though.

The new JSA figures are beautiful, too. Starman is perfect, Sand is awesome, and it's nice to see "Old Geezer" versions of Jay and Alan.

Wait, there are new JSA figures out? I didn't know! I must check this out!

I always did like Alan and Jay better as "geezers." :-)

Wonder Woman may look nervous but Black Canary looks damn keen.

Oh, so you noticed that too?

Heh. This all makes up for the slightly creepy scene where they all crowd around Stargirl at the dentist.
