It's Raining, it's Pouring...
It's friffin' Snowing. And Sleeting. And possibly hail, fog and locusts will be following for all I know. The piles of snow are so high, that the snowblower can't reach the tops any more. Needless to say, I'm getting just a wee bit tired of snow. AND it is Wednesday, and I can't go to the Comic Book Store, which is just some more frozen icing on the cake.

So...since I have absolutely nothing better to do, I have a proposal for you all.
Which Green Lantern would YOU like to Date, and where would you go?
We all know that Guy has some...interesting ideas when it comes to the proper venue for a date, such as porn theatres and cockfights. That's not exactly MY cup of tea, but it just might be yours. Personally, I think that being flown into Space to view the Orion Nebula would be a blast...if it was followed by hot chocolate afterwards.
Would John Stewart want to go see Mamma Mia for the fifteenth time? Would Kyle just want to go out for coffee? Would Arisia like to go shopping for My Little Ponies? Would Hal want to go shopping for mirrors? YOU be the Judge!

HAL, of course -- and out to dinner at a nice restaurant. I'll end up having to pay for both of us, of course. Really, though, I just wanna see if he uses the ol' "You've never flown with ME" line. ;-)
I´d choose Natu, mainly because Katma Tui is too serious, Arisa too emotional, and Jade is just too Jade.
But also because Natu rules. She can kick anyone´s ass and also be very sweet.
Plus Soranik is a doctor! There is economic security there!
Guy, of course. I'll compromise and let him have a sports date if he'll compromise with me and make it hockey instead of football. No stadium food, though... dinner before or after, but it doesn't have to be anything fancy. Burgers or pizza is fine with me!
But I wouldn't have the heart to break him up with Tora if they ever get themselves all straightened out. Second choice... hmm... Kilowog! He's awesome and sweet and people always forget that he's super-smart, too. I have no idea what sort of date I'd go on with him, though. Does he even have hobbies or outside interests of some sort? Surely he does.

Natu. I agree with Fernando about the reasons for turning down Arisia and Jade, but I'd have to turn down Katma because she's too DEAD.
All excellent choices! Too bad about Katma being dead and all that. Frankly, I think that Iolande would be a lot of fun in the right sort of place. Brik would probably like bowling.
Sea, the only problem with Hal is that you WILL end up having to pay for dinner...but it just might be worth it.
Duskdog, Guy at a Hockey game would be fabulous. He may not know how to skate, but I'm sure that the violence level would be right up his alley. I didn't really consider Kilowog, which is a shame because I'm pretty sure he'd be a wonderful date. AND he has a really great behind.
I also think that Salaak could be fun if he ever let his hair down...figuratively speaking.

Yup. Geoff Johns made it so she's actually 200 years old or something on her world, because it revolves differently than earth. Which doesn't really change the fact that people on her world probably aged differently, and she still was just a kid.
