JLA #39? IIRC, he was waiting for Despero to surface. Ted and company in the Beetle just saw Despero fly by, followed by a gleeful Guy, and when they turned around and went to see what was going on, Guy was sitting cross-legged over the water, looking all contemplative, which... worried them all a little bit.

Or maybe it wasn't Despero, but I was thinking it was the same issue where Gypsy is crying because her parents have been killed, and Guy thinks she's crying because he's such a stud.

Adam Hughes art, I think, because I remember how very pretty I thought this shot was. You really did it justice here, too. I think you and Hughes are the only people I know who consistently draw Guy's hair so pretty. :)

Give yourself a Gold Star, Duskdog! That's exactly it. Adam Hughes really did do a nice job on the old JLI's. He also did the prettiest Fire and Ice ever.

And yes, he did good Guy hair.
