About Me
- Name: SallyP
- Location: Windsor Locks, Connecticut, United States
I am a middle-aged suburban housewife with four kids and a husband, two dogs and a cat who has trouble figuring out what the litter box is for. I probably have waaaay too much time on my hands. Actually, in updating this, the cat is gone, and most of the kids have moved out, but we still have all of their stuff, so it is a good thing that we have a big house. Also, I have become a Grandmother!

THANK YOU, Sally! Can't BELIEVE I've never seen this before. Whatta hoot! Love Kilowog and Boodika arm-wrestling over there ... ;-)
I miss the mushroom guy. I liked his design with the robes instead of skin tight stuff. And I also like that he was a soothsayer, the GL Corps needs a little of that.
It seems to me like he's the only one from that Corps who hasn't showed up yet.
Or have I just missed him?
You're welcome. :-)
it was cooler in my head
I know there was a reason, but why was John not wearing gloves? I don't think it was because he wasn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. Was it?
I didn't even notice that John wasn't wearing his gloves! I would suspect either a coloring error, or possibly, John had been eating Cheeto's, and got his gloves all orangey.
John took his gloves off in the Mosaic story in the main GL title. It was something about getting the power closer to his skin and making it more real, or something. He kept them off through all the the Mosaic title. So, it's not a color error.
Thank you Ticknart. I knew there was a sensible answer.
What is really depressing me, is that I tried to remember the names of all the disciples, and only came up with ten. It's worse than trying to remember all the Seven Dwarves!
According to Leonardo's notebook...
Bartholomew, James the Lesser and Andrew make up the first group of three. They all look startled.
Judas, Peter and John form the next group. Judas' face can't be seen clearly (his head is turned slightly away) but his elbow is on the table. Peter is clutching a knife ("Put up thy sword, Peter") and appears to be furious. John looks queasy, as if he wants to faint or throw up.
Thomas, James the Greater and Philip make up the third group. Thomas looks upset, James is throwing his hands up in frustration and Philip is pressing for an explanation.
The final group consists of Matthew, Thaddeus and Simon the Zealot. They're all sharing a glance.
This is supposed to be the instant after Jesus (in the center, of course!) has said: "One of you will betray me..."
Thanks, I couldn't remember Thaddeus and Bartholomew and it was driving me nuts. It's also nice to know who was who in the groupings.
Do you suppose they referred to James the Lessor that way? Talk about giving a guy a complex!
