Er...uh...let's all bash Batman? Bang Batman? Betwaddle Batman? Nope, no matter how you phrase it, it still sounds dirty. Which, believe it or not, is not my intention. I only want to bedevil Batman...a little tiny bit. Because seeing Batman get bipped just thrills me right down to my toes.

As totaltoyz points out, that is none other than The Penny Plunderer, one of Batman's greatest Golden Age villains.
His theme was pennies, and that's what he's hitting Batman in the head with. A roll of pennies.
All your other points stand, though. :-)
One penny wasn't vicious enough for The Penny Plunderer! Only a true villain would throw an entire roll of pennies at Batman!
Come to think of it, a roll of pennies to the head would hurt pretty bad.
Ok, I agree that the Penny Plunderer is a pretty cool name. Still...you have to admit that compared to some of Bat's rogue gallery, he's fairly small potatoes.
But yeah, I imagine that getting hit with a roll of pennies WOULD hurt! Not to mention a sock full of quarters.
